School of Physiotherapy, Mayo Hospital Lahore was the vision of Mrs. Judith Margaret Shaheen Mian. She was among the pioneer Physiotherapist appointed in West Pakistan as 1st class Gazetted Officer in 1962. PC I for School of Physiotherapy were submitted in 1973. Building was constructed in 1977. Regular classes for three years degree program in Physiotherapy was started in 1985. School of Physiotherapy Mayo Hospital Lahore is honored to be the second Teaching Institute in Pakistan. It got affiliation with University of the Punjab Lahore……………. In 2006 King Edward Medical College was awarded status of University and School of Physiotherapy was affiliated with King Edward Medical University the same year.
